Chapter 55. Eat in My Office

William’s POV

I entered the brown room at the end of the hallway.

Note; it is the room I had talked about Bob with Amelia.

I picked up a glass cup and served myself some whiskey. I walked towards the window at the back of the room and I saw Amelia, sitting on the bench in the garden. She is not doing anything, she is just sitting there.

I gulped down the wine quickly and made my way to the backyard; where the garden is.

Amelia stood up immediately she saw me and looked at me intently.

"I remember yesterday night", she said and I furrowed my brows.

"Oh", I replied, not knowing what to say. Why did I even rush down here? I just saw Amelia sitting here and the first thought I had was to come down here, to meet her.

"I am sorry for the trouble and embarrassment I caused you, please don't be mad", she said calmly and my heart softened.

I never knew Amelia could apologize like this.

"It's fine", I said with a smile and she smiled
