"Is it wise to be traveling solo?"

Malia folded a shirt and added it to her suitcase. They hadn't returned home yet. Just yesterday her father had given her permission to leave Germany and take a break. 

"Yes." 

Grant had proposed they continue their tour of the city. Malia told Grant that she was leaving for a trip. She didn't say where.

"I think you should take some time off and rest first," Grant said. He moved closer to Malia and grabbed her hand. She looked at him. "We still have time, we can go anywhere you want."

"I have to go, please let me go."

He held on tighter. "Is everything okay? You've been acting strange since the incident."

She noticed how he emphasized the word “incident”. 

"I keep telling you, I'm fine. Nothing is the problem. And yes, I want to travel solo. It's my break after all."
