He laughed. "I do, but first. I wanted to apologize to you. My actions last night were out of line and inappropriate. I'm sorry for causing you distress."

Malia nodded as he spoke. The sincerity in his voice and face made her realize that Grant had never apologized to her for once. She felt a spark of anger at herself. She was thinking about him. And worse, comparing him to his brother.

She waved dismissively. "I'm just as much at fault as you. I forgive you. I hope you'll forgive me too."

"That's done. I'm sure it won't happen again."
