Chapter 66

Malia opened her mouth to speak but swallowed her words. "I'm not in the mood." She said softly, trying to move away from him. He didn't let her move, holding her tightly.

"I don't want to have sex with you Malia, I'm just holding you."

"Oh great. How did I know that?" She said sarcastically.

"You had a long day, and as much as it may seem, I am not a monster."

Malia laughed. He was such a liar. 

"You're just disgusted with me now, say it and stop being a hypocrite."

He went quiet. Malia rolled her eyes again, tears pricking her eyes. 

"You're wrong." He said at last. "I'm not disgusted with you."

Malia thought that if she had called Caspian, none of the violence she had seen would have happened. Nothing could have happened at all. Somehow his words that were said to make her feel better only made her feel worse.
