Chapter 12. Visitor

I put everything I bought on the oak table one by one to double check the list. And arrange it in the cabinet and some in the fridge. I chose to just open the can beans so I wouldn’t have to cook.

My legs were still high sitting on the couch while holding a bowl of rice and can beans while facing the flat screen TV when someone suddenly rang the doorbell.

I stood up to hear the knocker and was very surprised at the unfamiliar face peeking out of the gate. “Good afternoon, who are they?” I asked curiously.
