Chapter 75. Hot

My heart pounded nervously against my ribs. I held my dress tightly to stop it from falling.

I took a deep breath, in and out as I was held hostage by his gaze. He didn’t answer me, instead, his eyes raked my body.

“Get out of my room or else I’ll scream!” I said in my shaking voice.

His lips twitched upward and he just shrugged. Instead of being threatened of my remark, he walked even closer, until his shoes touched my bare feet.

His face was pulled down, eyes were intense in a way that thrilled me. I looked away while trying to fix my clothes.

“I’m sorry about earlier, I wasn’t expecting that to happen...” he said gently.

My jaw clenched. “What should I expect from you? You don’t remember anything,” I said with full of sarcasm.

Silence stretched between us like a rope. He eyed me carefully, watching me frantically zipping my dress up.
