Emily’s POV

“So, what do you have to say? I have to be somewhere.”

She walked around the office, her eyes taking in the beautiful scenery.

I sat down and watched her intensely.

Her hands slowly moved through the racks of books on the shelf, then she stopped suddenly and pulled out a book.

It was Wesley’s book or should I say mine because I technically wrote the book.

It was his second book after the first one was a huge hit.

This book won him a lot of awards and I was so happy for him. I was okay with him taking all the credit, money and fame as long as we were together.

Every night, after every award he would pull me close, place a kiss on my lips and thank me for the sacrifices I made for the family.

“This book brings back a lot of memories…” Sophia finally spoke.

I glared at her, “Is that the reason you are here? To gloat?” I asked her.

She turned to me, her facial expression as innocent as it could. What th
