"He's not in good shape; Kris has given up on him, but he's keeping it hidden from Xavier," she sighed.
"What's wrong with him?" Concerned for Xavier's sibling, I questioned.
"He has ischemia, which is a condition in which blood flow and oxygen are restricted to a specific area of the body. He's on the verge of death, and no one knows how much time he has left," she continued, her heart breaking.
"It's painful to lose someone, but it's even more painful to have someone and not know when you'll lose them," I mumbled, sympathizing with Xavier's predicament.
"You're correct. "Xavier has been looking for his brother for years, and seeing him in this condition is excruciating for him," she remarked with compassion in her voice.
