Chapter 75. A Blindfold

Sansa's Pov

Back in time: a few hours ago

"I will reveal the way out, but you must give me something in return," a sly smirk on her lips, well aware of my intrigue. Vera replied.

I had no idea that this would turn out to be the worst mistake of my life. Her devious manipulations had blinded me, and I wondered if some spell had been put on me, turning me into a willing pawn in her game of deception.

The door flew open in an instant, and a swarm of animals surged for me. Panic gripped my heart, and I found myself surrounded with nowhere to go.

"You have 30 seconds to decide," she teased, forcing me to fall into her trap.

As the wild creatures approached, my mind raced and panic gripped me. "I can't make any decisions because it's not in my hands, and I've already made a mess," I muttered.

Vera said with a knowing tone, "Everyone makes mistakes, but that doesn't mean you can't make decisions."
