Slowly, Jared turned his back to Gwen. She reached out and tenderly ran her fingers over his back. “Here! And here!” exclaimed Gwen as she put her fingers over the scars made by the two bullets Jared had taken for her. “This wonderful man shielded me from a killer’s bullets. He came very close to dying. I’m here because of his courage, quick thinking, and sacrifice. He’s Steve’s brother now, as well as mine. We love him and we’ll do anything we can to help him, if he ever needs it."

“Come with me,” insisted Gwen as she led Jared to the tub. As they approached it, Gwen deftly tugged Jared’s towel off and tossed it to the side.

“Naomi, you may want to rethink your position,” chided Charlotte. “This guy is proportional, if you get my drift. It looks like he really, really likes Gwen. You may want to get naked to keep this guy on the narrow. He’s already on the straight!”
