Chapter 15. Meeting the Family
Avery’s POV
It was difficult for me to fall asleep after that, so I didn’t force myself anymore. Besides, I didn’t want any more bad dreams. It was already bad enough I was facing them in real life now. I couldn’t escape to the works of the imagination because they were there too.
I would get up and go to the bathroom to pee even when I didn’t feel like it. I’ll force it. I’ll keep tossing and turning over my sheets, and trust me, I have never felt more uncomfortable in my entire life. I gave up on struggling to make myself comfortable in my bed and sat up, waiting for the sun to rise. Luckily, it was 5:30 AM, and anytime from now, the sun would be up, and I could carry on with my life. After waiting for what felt like years, I saw the beautiful rays of the sun coming up as the sun rose from the east. I didn’t want to be dramatic and all, but I had never been happier to see the sun.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get cleaned up, which I hurriedly did,
