Chapter 219

“Hey guys could you come again next weekend?" Lena asked, looking directly at Gale. "Xavier and Brianna will still be here. And even Kay promised she would try."

Darcy followed Jill through into the drawing room and set her glass down on a side table. It felt suddenly chilly out there on the terrace and she had not waited for Gale’s answer.

"He is just too hot and amazing!" Kay said under her breath. "But Shelly’s only making a fool of herself!"

Darcy did not ask her what she meant by that. It seemed that Shelly's attraction to Gale had become obvious to everyone, and no doubt Gale himself was fully aware of it. Nothing confused him; nothing left him in doubt for a very long, it Darcy had observed about him.
