“I will not invite you in today. Darcy," Rachael said. “I know you want to get home, but you will come to see us sometime later, won’t you?" there was the barest hesitation before Darcy answered, and she could feel Gale's eyes on her, waiting for her answer.

“It would be better if you recover and visit me, Rachael, as I will be very busy this month; I have a lot of things going on at home as well as at the office." The words had sounded tense and difficult to utter; she knew she was wrong, but she did not know what else to do to avoid Gale.

Rachael said. “I would like to meet your father, Darcy. After all, my dad has been filling me up with their childhood stories, and Gale has also told us so much about him."
