“Sure, why not? But I have to go to the restroom first.”

“Okay,” I had already placed my order for my favorite pizza when she returned from the restroom.

If you’re wondering why I didn’t ask Riya about her preferred pizza, it’s because I’m confident that Riya will enjoy the pizza of my choice.

“You were asking something.” While seated in her chair, she said,

“Yes, but first, let’s eat some pizza.” I could see the hesitation on her face as she said, “Oh, pizza.”

“What happened to you? You don’t like pizza?” I asked, observing her reaction.

“No, there isn’t anything like that; I stay away from junk food throughout my periods.”

“Oh my god, how could I have forgotten? I’m so sorry, but I’ll order something else for you straight away.”

“No, it’s fine. Please don’t bother.”

“Okay,” I said as I ate a pizza slice.

“Riya, can’t you live anywhere but Harsh?”

“Why?” While toying with her
