Three Months

“Are you planning on going on a tour?” After noticing Harsh packing his things into the trolley bag, I inquired.

“How did you return home so early today?” He asked me a question without responding to my questions.

“That’s because there was nothing noteworthy in the office today.” Now I’m not sure how I’m going to tell him that Rachit doesn’t have time for me today.

“Oh, well, at least you’ll be able to relax today.” He zipped up his trolley bag and placed it to the side.

“Why haven’t you told me why you’re packing your belongings?” I inquired of him once more.

“Riya, for the next three months, they will transfer me to Hyderabad on behalf of the company.”

“What? And you didn’t even feel the need to inform me.”

How could he do this to me? How could he suddenly leave me?

“I received the information today as well.” Seeing my expression, he took a big breath and said.
