Chapter 26. Discoveries and Farewells (2)

Slowly, I walked into the next room and found Jiwan squirming, his mouth forming a new pout, threatening to cry.

"Hi, my love," I gently picked him up from the crib, still seeing the pout. "Don't cry, daddy's here."

Jiwan looked at me and started sucking his own hand while murmuring.

"Are you hungry?" I asked, walking outside, rocking him. "Honey?" I called for JunKoo. He appeared at the door of our room, dressed only in boxers. "Can you prepare a bottle for me, please?"

He nodded and walked downstairs. I decided to follow him and wait for the bottle on the living room couch.

"Do you want me to do it?" he asked from the kitchen. "Then you can rest."

"No, it's okay," I replied, looking at Jiwan in my arms. "I want to spend a little time with him."

While waiting for the bottle to be ready, I played with my baby for a while.
