"Hi, Jinie, I missed you too, you know?" I smiled, going to the bags to see what he bought.

"Oh, don't even try." He placed two plates and utensils on the table. "I'm starving."

I smiled, and he finally hugged me.

"But I missed you too. How's the little baby doing? Has it been moving a lot? I'm so happy," he asked.

"It's fine, and it hasn't been big movements, just some gentle tickles," I replied.

"Wait until the strong kicks come," he said, gently caressing my belly, and then pulled out the chair for me to sit.

"You talk as if you've already experienced it," I remarked.

"I wish... But SiJoon wants to wait until the wedding, so I'll have to be patient," he sighed, opening the bag, and I smiled at his sad face.

"The right time will come, Jinie. You and SiJoon will be amazing parents," I reassured him.
