Chapter 18
MARGA’S POINT OF VIEW
I was on leave for three days at work so that I could prepare to move out of my apartment to stay with my aunt from now on. Lucas was very happy when he knew that I’d be staying with them, but I hadn’t told him about my pregnancy.
I was slowly putting some of my things in the boxes. I told Suzy about my recent talk with my aunt, and she was relieved to know that although that aunt was disappointed, she still accepted me, especially the baby.
“So, how will you tell Lucas?” Suzy asked; she helped me right away by putting my things in the boxes.
“I don’t know, but I think the baby we’ll make him happy or excited.”
“Then why not tell him right away when you went to your aunt?” she asked.
“He wasn’t there yet, and I’m afraid he’ll hate me for getting pregnant to merely just a stranger,” I sighed.
“He’s not a stranger anymore, Marga,” she chuckled.
