MARCO’S POINT OF VIEW

I hurriedly went to the airport to see mom before she left to go back to the states. I was able to see her before boarding.

“Why didn’t you tell me you are leaving?” I asked her, panting.

“I didn’t think you would want to know since you’re busy with your own family,” she really emphasized the word “own.

I sighed, “Mom, why is it so hard for you to accept Marga and my baby?”

“The baby’s fine, he’s yours so I don’t mind anymore. but you are in a relationship with that woman. I just cannot accept her,” she said.

“Mom, please. I’m begging you, just give her a chance. She’s not what you think you are, she’s different,” I said, almost pleading to give Marga a chance.

“Marco, stop it already. I’ll be in the states for only a year and I’ll come back. A lot can happen in a year especially to your relationship with Marga,” she said, but I hugged her for the last time before going inside the airport.
