Chapter 67. The Coven of Witches
*** MRS. BRICK’S HOUSE ***
Mia got away from the cage and made her way out of the bunker. As she was about to take a step to get out from her grams’ backyard, she caught sight of her grams staring at her some good paces away.
“Oh no!” she cried out.
She flicked around to run. There stood Mrs. Brick in front of her, staring at her. Mrs. Brick’s stare at her gave her a creep. She flicked around to run in the opposite direction; there stood Mrs. Brick right before her.
“Leave me alone!” she cried out.
When she tried running in another direction, she tripped and fell. Her visions blurred. Her heart raced in her chest.
“Don’t be hard on yourself,” Mrs. Brick whispered to her.
Mia was startled as she opened her eyes only to realize she was still at the bunker and inside the cage. “What are you doing to me?” she growled.
“Just playing with your memory,” Mrs. Brick snickered under her breath.
Mia never left the cage, nor did she get out
