Selene's POV

While they continued to play Elisa, I looked around and looked for something that I could use until my eyes caught sight of what our adviser was wearing.

I quickly stood up from my seat before going to see my teacher.

"Ma'am!" I called him.

He immediately turned to me and looked at me in surprise.

"Ms. Laurent, why are you here? Don't you still have a game?" He frowned when he asked.

I quickly pretended to be dazzled by the sun while my knees felt weak.

"Ma'am, it's dazzling." I said before turning to her again, "Can I borrow your sunglasses?"

His mouth opened slightly, and he was even more surprised at what I was doing.

I'm nervous; ma'am might scold me!

"Okay, sure, just give it back to me when you're done using it." He said it, causing my face to light up and my smile to spread widely.

He handed me his sunglasses, causing me to accept them. I thanked ma'am before returning to my seat.
