Selene's POV

It was as if I was immediately irritated by his answer, causing me to suffer.

"So, when are you planning to tell me your secret?" I irritably grinned at the absence.

I tightened my grip on the cellphone and smiled, annoyed.

(What are you doing now?)

"Secret!" He said it to her with a mixture of annoyance before hanging up.

"What's with your face?"

I turned around at the behavior of the person who called me. Sister Vera.

My mouth dropped open quickly as I looked at him.

"Wow. Sister Vera, you are beautiful! Bangs are your thing!" I gave it a thumbs up.

He just shrugged and shook his head before talking to the owner of the salon.

He used his black card again before we left the salon.

"Aren't you hungry?" He asked me before putting the paper bags with only books inside the car.
