Chapter 25

Kaelynn's POV 

I opened my eyes and yawned, then looked at the clock, which was nearly noon.

I've been attending classes for a few weeks now, and I'm already used to the night shift schedule and our classmates. Except for one, I'm no longer struggling with my responsibilities here at the mansion, thanks to the other maids. 

"Luno, get up!" sir Darenn insisted as he attempted to wake me up. Every morning, he became my alarm clock, and it was already late, but he hadn't had his bath. 

"All right," I said. I'm still sleepy because we got home at 5 a.m., and it's 9:30 a.m., and sir Darenn is already waking me up. I was supposed to wake up at 11 a.m., but he woke me too early because he was excited about his birthday. 

"You didn't let Sol give you another bath?" When I asked him, he just pouted and shook his head no. "I don't like them," he said, and I smiled at him before hugging and greeting him. 

"Sir Darenn, happy birthday!
