Chapter 33

Kaelynn’s POV

I saw how Danrioius' eye colors changed into a bloody red as his sharp fangs grew while glaring at me. But, behind that scary look on his face, I can feel the sadness in his tearful eyes.

I wouldn't say I like it. I hate myself for hurting another important person in my life. First, my best friend, Red, and now, Danrious. I broke them both on the same day, on my birthday. I thought as my tears won't stop falling.

"Danrious!" I heard Sir Daryl's voice and saw him pull Danrious in a tight embrace, together with Daniel. They're both trying to make Danrious calm down, but he's too strong for them to control. Danrious quickly shoved his brothers away from him. And he gave me a spiteful glare before disappearing toward the mansion.

"Kaelynn, are you alright?" Ms. Ash asked me, but I couldn't say a response to her. My body still trembled in shame and guilt for what I did to Danrious. I hate myself as well.

I want to say yes to him. I was so happy
