I repeatedly knocked on her door, but she didn't answer and didn't open it.

What have I done wrong?

I stopped knocking on her door and took a moment to reflect. Then, I received a text from Kaelynn saying that they had already gone home, apologizing for the trouble caused by her visit.

I sat by her door, contemplating what we both had done.
