Chapter 53. My Secret

As the sheriff and Lewis drove to Mr. and Mrs. Franklin’s apartment, Lewis breaks the silence, “How are we supposed to kill a vampire?” Lewis asked. “We shoot him,” the sheriff replied. “We already did that back at the station,” Lewis said. “Silver bullets don’t work on him like the werewolves,” Lewis added. “Then we chop off his head and see if that works,” the sheriff said.

Unaware of what was happening, Clara just arrived home and as soon as she opens the front door to walk inside, Duke knocked him out from behind. Dragging her into the house, he tied her to a chair just like he tied Mr. and Mrs. Franklin, “Let the party begin!” Duke said as he chuckles.

A few minutes later, Clara regained consciousness and immediately she tried to move her body, she realized she was tied to a chair, “What is going on here?” Clara asked as she began feeling weak already. “Oh, look who is awake,” Duke said. “Clara, is gonna be alright,” Mr. Franklin said to Clara.
