"I'm not interrogating you," she says, taking a bite of her chocolate pastry, her eyes searching mine for answers. She leans back, trying to appear casual.

"You're lying to me," I say, closing my notebook with a slam, my frustration evident. "Stop beating around the bush and ask me what you really want to ask me," I place my pen down firmly, my voice edged with irritation. I glare at her, daring her to come clean.

"Can we have sex?" she blurts out, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as she fidgets with her napkin. She avoids my gaze, her voice shaky.

"What?" I question, caught off guard by her sudden request. I raise an eyebrow, stunned by her bluntness.

"Amanda said that sex helped her and Alexander get closer a few years ago, and I want to do it," she explains hurriedly, her words tumbling out in a rush. She looks desperate, her eyes pleading.
