"So, you signed us up for something unannounced and you're not even going to be present?" Sebastian asks, noticeably irritated, his eyes narrowing.

"I said there's a chance I won't be present." She shrugs nonchalantly. "I might just end up working the baked treats table. I'll decide if I want to by today after school."

"Do you need help—" Nathaniel starts, but Via cuts him off sharply.

"Definitely not any help from you guys," she snaps, causing a small ping in my heart. "Christian, Kol, Aiden, and Ethan are going to make all the sweet treats with me."

"You really don't want to be around us?" Maximilian asks her, his voice low.

Via looks at Aston and shakes her head. "Honestly? No." She turns her gaze to Sebastian, then to me. "You all collectively constantly lied to me over and over again." She keeps her eyes fixed on me.
