"Watch your mouth, Via," Mr. Montgomery says, tapping on the desk a few times out of frustration.

"Shit. Fuck. Bitch. Motherfucking assh—" I am cut off by Mr. Thorne, another rough kiss from him that consumes me.

Once he pulls away, I'm pretty sure my face is extremely flushed.

"Break up with Justin," Mr. Everhart states, and I finally manage to get out of Mr. Thorne's hold.

"No," I finally manage to get off the desk.

"Via, we can't keep this up anymore," Mr. Montgomery says. I look out the window at the cityscape visible from the third floor. "We can't keep pretending that you being with him doesn't bother us."

"I'm not breaking up with him. I don't care what you guys say. I will go through this damn school year with Justin as my boyfriend.
