Chapter 25
Daphne’s POV
His confidence in his words have me a bit apprehensive, but to be truthful it set me at ease as I heard him being firm with his choice of words. It’s as if he does this for a living. I wonder how many people in the restaurant have tried to take him for someone he wasn’t. Maybe dating someone who is economically below me is a good thing, for once I hope to be right.
When I enter to take my ticket to a parking building, I set my car on the sixth-floor, where it is an eighth-floor building. Getting out, I hear the game start so I pick up my speed to get to the stadium in the nick of time. Arriving to have the people check my things which are my cell phone and my to-go wallet, I see Alexander laying against the wall with his arms crossed. He has a tight black shirt with a logo on it, jeans and vans on with a cap hat. He looks pretty good for a man who works in a restaurant.
