Chapter 11

As I walked into the school gymnasium, I was greeted by the sight of my fellow graduating seniors milling about, chatting and laughing with one another. We were all dressed in our school uniform, eagerly anticipating the start of our graduation practice.

I saw Max standing near the stage, talking animatedly with some of our classmates. I joined them, and we chatted for a while until our teacher announced that we would begin practice.

We took our seats, and our teacher began giving us instructions on how to properly walk across the stage and receive our diploma. As she spoke, my mind drifted off, thinking about all the memories I had made in this school, and how bittersweet it was to be leaving.

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by a loud crash. I turned to see what had happened and saw that one of my classmates had tripped and fallen on stage. I held my breath as the whole gymnasium fell silent, wondering if she was okay.
