I couldn't wait to tell Felix about Nathan, my new friend from Isla's hometown. I dialed his number and waited for him to answer.

"Hey, babe. How's everything going?" Felix's voice came through the phone.

"Hey, Felix. Everything's going great, but I have some exciting news to tell you," I said with a smile.

"Okay, what is it?" Felix asked, curious.

"I made a new friend in Isla's hometown. His name is Nathan, and he's really cool. We've been hanging out a lot," I told Felix, excited to share the news with him.

"That's great, Iris. I'm glad you're making new friends. What's he like?" Felix asked.

"He's really funny and smart. He's also really easy to talk to. We've been talking a lot about our future plans, and it's been really interesting," I said, feeling grateful for Nathan's friendship.
