Chapter 12

As we marched along with the rest of our classmates in our graduation gowns, I couldn't help but feel a sense of bittersweetness. It was our last practice before the real graduation ceremony, and while I was excited about the future, I knew I would miss my friends.

Max and Isla were walking beside me, both of them wearing big smiles on their faces. I knew why - we had all gone to Xefora's gig the night before, and it had been amazing. Isla had been in her element, dancing the night away and singing along to every song.
