Reina's Pov

Immediately the car pulls up in the house, I hurriedly get down crying my eyes out.

"Hey Reina, are you okay? Do you need me to check up on you?" Mario asked with concern etched on his face.

"I'm fine, Mario. Thanks for asking," I replied, trying to hide the tears that were threatening to spill out of my eyes.

Mario looked at me skeptically, but didn't push any further. Instead, he changed the topic, asking me about the events that had led to my recent ordeal.

"How did Thomas manage to kidnap you from Rojas' house? And how did Rojas manage to rescue you?" he asked, his eyes boring into mine.

I couldn't bring myself to answer. I had been helpless, and it was only through the kindness of Rojas that I had been able to escape.

"I don't know, Mario," I finally whispered, my voice choked with emotion. "All I know is that Thomas was responsible for my mother's accident seven years ago. He did it just so he could offer me money for her treatmen
