Chapter 3
He stared at her for a moment and then continued to talk. “Well, women can have a difficult time meeting my demands,” he said. His voice was deep and confident, the volume so low that she had to focus intently to hear him over the din of the crowd.
“I am a dominating partner. I know it’s tough to take sometimes. That’s why I need a special woman,” his eyes met hers now, and his hand moved across the table to her arm, just above her elbow.
She felt an electric jolt as their eyes met and his touch seemed filled with desire, as if he were blatantly asking her ,“Can you be that woman, Cheyanne?”
