Chapter 13

My birthday is today. The last few weeks have flown by. Gabriella had to stay after class almost every day for remedial assistance. I had no idea she was performing so poorly. Training went extremely well. I've made significant progress. Alpha Viktor gave us the go-ahead to begin sparring. He said we should be able to join the regular training sessions in two weeks.

"Guess what," Gabriella announced in the dressing room. "William, Trent, Adam, and Zander have been invited to your birthday party."

"That's an easy way to meet them," I pointed out.

"Plus, you're the birthday girl, so they have to say hello," she teased. "Perhaps sparks will fly."

"I'm with Scott right now," I explained. "Perhaps sparks will fly with my wolf after I get him tonight."

"Don't isolate yourself. "You never know," she explained. "Aside from that, Zander is a total babe." I believe you will like him. He's exactly your type."

"Well, right now, I like Scott," I explained.
