"What's the big deal?" Gabriella inquired.
"Nothing. "I just got a tickle," I explained.
With a microphone in hand, our guidance counselor took the stage. "Good afternoon, ladies," said Mrs. Michell. " It has come to our attention that some inappropriate behaviors may have occurred with one of our teachers, and we would like you to assist us in determining the extent of these offenses." If you do not feel safe disclosing here, please see me in my office or find a teacher you trust."
"Now, when I ask you a question, I would like you to raise your hand to indicate yes," Mrs. Michell said. "Raise your hand if you had Mr. Lancaster for English."
The majority of hands were raised. "Anyone who did not raise their hand is free to leave," said Mrs. Michell.
Fifty students walked out of the room. "Raise your hand if Mr. Lancaster mentioned the Moon Goddess to you," she asked.
