‘What do you mean, not a wolf?’ I humbly asked.

‘Then what is it? A beast?’ Miss Helen queried.

As we awaited Sir Payne’s answers, the topic at hand showed up on its own.. Feet??

‘I thought you said it wasn’t a wolf?’ Uncle Frank interrogated.

‘It.. really.. isn’t..’ He slowly stated as if processing his own judgment.

My eyes glanced at the man. It is for sure a man, since his glory is dangling in between his legs. Yep, he’s naked.

Carter growled at me and then at the poor man. ‘Stop staring at him, Addison, or else I’ll snap his neck in two.’

Concerned for the innocent man, I instantly looked away. But even that gesture frustrates Carter. He snarled and glared at him. The uni
