Sophia’s POV

I sprinted and tried to race with Jacob, but this damn wolf of mine is so swift and agile. Even with his five treasures. And even if I made him run into a corner, the booming horn once again alerted everyone that it was now lunch time. He transformed back and sighed in relief. Panting to catch his breath as we locked eyes with one another. Jacob let out one cheeky grin.

I glared at him, and he placed one knee on the ground—since he is so tall and I am still in my wolf form—as he cuddled me. More like soothing me and asking Lia for help.

‘How could you be upset with him?!’ Lia hissed, and I scoffed at the two of them. Thank goodness Luke was calming me down as he let out his pheromones.

“Are you ma...” Jacob gulped. “..can we eat together?”

I shifted back in my human form and turned away from him with attitude, “Thank Luke for calming me down. Or else I would not even dare to grace you with a meal with me. Not even a single glance!”
