Chapter 160. The Third Door
Sophia’s POV
I woke up in the middle of my deep slumber when someone tried to directly stab me in the chest. I quickly grabbed the arm of the perpetrator and gripped it tightly. When I opened my eyes, I saw a silver dagger obviously dipped with both unscented wolf’s bane and that annoying crimson lotus plant extract. The attacker wore a mask, but I fucking knew who was behind it.
“Hatchett! To whom do I owe the honors?” I sarcastically mumbled.
“Being a witch sure has its perks.” She scoffed and tried to retrieve her hand, but I wouldn’t budge. “You could actually detect our altered presence. Even the oldies and my Jacob couldn’t do it.”
“My Jacob? Hah! How bold of you to claim him in front of me!” I narrowed my eyes and tried to directly punch her in the face, but I was slowly getting dizzy all of a sudden.
