I wiped her tears away and whispered as I further closed the gap between our lips. “Please just punch me when the aphrodisiac wears off.” I murmured in hot pants. She slowly shook her head and smiled at me. That sunshine smile of hers that I would be willing to go to war as long as I could get a glimpse of it. “I would never.”

“You just punched me earlier, though,” I groused and shot her one playful glare. Her jaw dropped, and her brows shot upwards as if she couldn’t believe me right now. “What a mood breaker!”

I flicked her forehead and said, “I couldn’t just bring myself to harass you against your will, Sophia.”

“It’s not harassment if I voluntarily give you permission! And it is not against my will! You are my mate, Jacob! I am only yours to claim!”
