Chapter 74. Gentle Gestures

Jacob’s POV

"Stop acting so cute or else I might abduct you, Addison." I lowly growled, and she bit her lip. Stopping herself to say something. When it took a while and we are still standing here, her brother went out to get her. 

Upon seeing them in my peripheral view, I wrapped Addison in my polo shirt. She sulked and still would not move a single step.

"What is it?" I tenderly asked. Her lips pursed and moved sideways.

"Promise me you'll not tease me??" She looked at me with her sparkly puppy eyes. Being in the same room for a night really had a huge effect on her, as she is so especially clingy to me. I'm sure after a week or so, it'll wear off, but I want to stay in this moment for now..

"I promise.."

She smiled and even giggled at my assurance. She moved my body so that my front would face the gate. Addison controlled my steps with her hands on my bare shoulders. She stopped when we were on the side of the passenger seat.
