"No need for apologies; you are the acting Luna, so of course your opinion matters," he maturely stated. The childish and petty Carter is now gone. I didn not notice I was staring at him until he mind-linked me.

'Falling for me now?' He arrogantly asked as the corner of his lips tugged to form a little smirk. I scoffed the moment I heard him in my head.

'For a second, I thought you had matured; I take it back now.' I responded, and we continued to do more paperwork. Completely still in ire of each other’s presence like an old jukebox.

It was three in the afternoon when we were finally done with everything that was placed at the desk. Beta Trent just came back without Tilly. They were gone for almost four hours! That long! There is no way he reprimanded her that much, right?
