I somehow fall into a routine.
With the help of Liam’s stability resonating through the bond and never wavering for a moment, I’m able to force myself out of bed every morning as soon as the sun comes up and go about trying to get my life back together.
Skipping my classes in order to avoid the outside world probably isn’t my smartest idea; however, the thought of leaving the safe haven I’ve created here with Liam, along with not wanting to force myself into mingling with humans, is enough to keep me locked behind his apartment door.
There’s nothing more that I want to do than keep myself isolated; however, the unfortunate reality is how time seems to continue moving forward, and I’ll eventually have to return to reality sooner or later. Nothing will stop and wait for the grief to pass, and the only true way through it is to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
