A day and a half goes by at an excruciatingly dragging pace.
With no word from the body shop about Liam’s car outside of a very vague “we’re working on it and will call you when it’s ready” and the worry that going back to NGU without any kind of protection would leave the entire campus vulnerable to another attack, we’re stuck in this cramped room for the foreseeable future.
Iris, being our only human and deemed safe enough by Liam to leave occasionally, has the uncomfortable job of being our runner. For snacks, water, toiletries, and everything in between.
Since she’s less likely to be picked out of a crowd by other shifters, it’s safer for her to wander across the street to the convenience store than it is for any of us.
