Chapter 13

Toby

As usual, Toby woke up before Sam, as he was a much lighter sleeper. He also had slightly painful cramps that had probably woken him up. He sat up in bed and wondered what Sam was dreaming about as he snuggled his pillow.

“Toby…” Sam mumbled in his sleep, which made the omega smile.

He smoothed back Sam's hair and thought to himself that his partner was a very decent alpha. He felt slight guilt for kissing James the night before, but that was a completely different situation – that was back out in his alpha world. But, to be honest, Toby wasn't interested in any relationships at all and would have to let James know that. And there was a reason for that.
