Chapter 12
Sam
The last thing Sam had expected to see as he walked back into the beer garden with Amanda was Toby and James locked in an embrace. James had had his arms thrown around Toby’s neck, leaning up to accept what looked like some very assertive kisses. Amanda found the sight hilarious, and her laughter caused them to separate. The group continued drinking, and as they parted ways to go home, James hung back with Toby to kiss him on the cheek and whisper something to him. Despite how sweet and cute he was, Sam wanted to punch the guy. Instead, he marched on ahead, letting Toby jog up to him to pace back toward the dorms.
Toby had been wasted and chattered about the movie he would see with James, with no clue how jealous and enraged Sam was. They’d parted ways, and Sam had turned his back curtly and strode back to his building.
