Book 4: Chapter 43

His dark hair was slightly damp as if he had just stepped out of the shower. It plastered to his head in such disarray that he reminded me of a slightly, roguish boy that was in search of some sort of trouble to get into.

I knew he was extremely angry at me at that moment, but I could not stop myself from looking. His jeans were slung low on his hips and his shirt… well, it must still be at the house since his large sinewy, slightly brazened chest was exposed to the morning sun’s rays. My mouth watered a bit, just staring at the smooth muscles that popped beautifully when he crossed his arms over his chest and gave me a look that made me stand up straight and think ‘oh shit’.

Then again, the sight he presented alone was almost worth making him angry.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing? You’re in danger and you just walk off on your own!” he yelled at me the moment he knew I could hear him.
