Chapter 24
Liz couldn’t believe her friend had a relationship with a guy she thinks is Mahlon Brown; she wishes it wasn’t Mahlon but someone else, someone new. Alice, on the other hand, was a strong supporter of her friend. Mahlon is free to anyone because he is still unmarried, according to her, but she doubts the richest businessman can be found in a nightclub at night.
Alice has always had a soft spot for Mahlon and believes that now that they have a kid together, everything is possible; on the other hand, Liz has never been a fan of Mahlon since he was discovered with Eden on the day of the engagement.
The ladies debated Mahlon all night.
“Did you remember to take the medicine when we got home?” Liz yelled angrily at Anastasia.
