Chapter 28
It was a chilly morning, but Aiden Sr.’s day wouldn’t be as chilly because he woke up with a running stomach.
The last time he had a running stomach, his wife died, but this time he couldn’t think of anything bad happening.
He arrived at work early to give himself ample time to look through his papers in case there was anything he had forgotten or was missing.
He received a call from his caretaker as soon as he arrived at work, informing him that his house was going to be demolished and that his caretaker had received notice from the government stating that they were now the owners of the land on which the house stood and that everything personal should be removed from the house.
He had to check his emails when he found the first notice and the agreement attached to it because he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
He was glad to learn that he had two weeks to obtain whatever private documents he might have.
He couldn’t believe he had neglected
